Pathways to the future....

At Splendacrest Stables, our greatest achievements have never been my own personal achievements.
They’ve always been the kids.
The nervous little 5, 6, 7 and 8 year olds who first arrive here learning how to steer, balance, brush a horse properly and build confidence around animals.
Then suddenly, somewhere along the way, those same kids are teenagers riding 80km, 120km and 160km endurance rides, representing their state, standing on podiums, wearing Australian team gear and competing on the National and International stage.
That pathway doesn’t happen by accident.
For more than 25 years, Splendacrest has focused on developing riders from the ground up: not just teaching people how to sit on a horse, but teaching horsemanship, responsibility, resilience, horse care, work ethic, sportsmanship and genuine partnership with their horses.
Our students don’t just learn to ride.
They learn how to produce horses.
How to compete.
How to care for animals.
How to handle pressure.
How to win with humility and lose with grace.
And perhaps the thing I’m proudest of all?
Several of our former students are now returning with children of their own so the next generation can experience the same opportunities, education and success.
That says more than any trophy ever could.
Splendacrest Stables has built a reputation over two and a half decades for producing capable, educated, competitive riders with real-world results.... from complete beginners through to Australian representatives.
If you’re looking for more than just “horse riding lessons”....
If you want a genuine all-round horsemanship education....
If you want your child mentored, challenged, encouraged and developed over years, not weekends....
Then Splendacrest is where futures are built.
